Sisters Academy of Baltimore offers a rigorous curriculum and holistic academic program that features:

  • A faith-based approach
  • Small classes with a student/teacher ratio of 7 to 1
  • An extended school day - 9.5 hours
  • Summer sessions
  • Consistent parental involvement

Our students learn in a pleasant, orderly, and safe environment. Their school day begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Students have a full program of study, including language arts, mathematics, reading, social studies, science, art, music, computer instruction and life skills. In addition, there is a rotating schedule in the later afternoon that includes physical education, team sports, clubs, and guided homework sessions. Students extend their learning through service projects and field trips. Sisters Academy has received a Certificate of Approval from the Maryland State Department of Education as a non-public school, grades 5 through 8, in the State of Maryland.

Sisters Academy is a learning community characterized by peace and respect. Our teachers value and nurture their students as unique individuals. The girls develop a bond that transcends their differences and enables them to support one another.
