School Sisters of Notre Dame. The primary mission of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, a worldwide congregation of religious women, is to transform the world through education. The congregation was founded in Germany to serve the poor and disadvantaged during a time of social and political upheaval. Today, the School Sisters are located in five continents, continuing to encourage and provide for women, to educate in the broadest sense of the word, to care for children and the poor, and to work for justice and peace.

Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, South Central Region. The Sisters of Mercy are an international community of religious women vowing to serve people who suffer from poverty, sickness, and lack of education – with a special concern for women and children. The congregation was founded in Ireland. The sisters minister in education, health care, social services, and pastoral ministries in schools, parishes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other programs that bring mercy to those in need.

Sisters of Bon Secours, USA. The Sisters of Bon Secours, an international religious congregation of Catholic women, bring “Good Help to Those in Need.” They share a charism of healing, compassion, and liberation. Today they practice their healing and spiritual ministry in hospitals, hospices, rehab centers, wellness centers, clinics, parishes, long-term care facilities, home care agencies, community centers, and social service organizations.

Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Sisters of Notre de Namur, women with hearts as wide as the world, make known God’s goodness and love of the poor through a Gospel way of life, community, and prayer. They work with poor people, especially women and children, in the most abandoned places of the world. They work to enable those who are materially poor to obtain what is rightfully theirs by changing unjust structures. They believe that education in varied forms is the best way to accomplish this goal.
