Welcome to Sisters Academy of Baltimore
Founded in 2004, Sisters Academy is an independent, faith-based, middle school for girls in grades 5 ā 8 located in southwest Baltimore
A Catholic community-centered middle school that educates girls of different races, ethnic groups, and religions. The Academy empowers students to become agents of transformation in their families, communities, and society.
Located in southwest Baltimore, Sisters Academy offers an equitable and empowering education in an atmosphere of inclusion and belonging. We foster the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, moral, and physical health and well-being of each of our students so that she may thrive at school, at home, and in a diverse, global community. Anchored by the charisms of our four founding congregations of religious sisters, our students learn empathy and respect for the sacredness of all humanity. We are all created in the image of God. We affirm the unique identity of each student as a valued part of the whole. We encourage our students to be both independent in thought and deed as well as interdependent parts of a shared community of learners.
At Sisters Academy, we live by the golden rule:
We treat others as we would want to be treated, and we love our neighbors
as sisters and brothers in the body of Christ.
