Sisters Academy operates on an 11-month calendar from mid-August through mid-July. Faculty observe multiple one or two-week breaks throughout the school year. Non-teaching, 12-month personnel observe a more traditional work schedule. Specifics are part of each individual’s employment contract.
All applicants must pass a series of background checks. This includes the Maryland State Department of Education Employment history review for child sexual abuse and sexual misconduct.

Sisters Academy’s passionate and innovative Science Teacher inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry in students in grades 5–8.
Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher
Sisters Academy’s passionate and dynamic ELA Teacher provides engaging, rigorous, and culturally responsive instruction to middle school students in grades 5–8.
