About Sisters Academy of Baltimore
Sisters Academy of Baltimore, an independent middle school for girls, grades 5 – 8, opened in September 2004. Cosponsored by Catholic sisters, the School Sisters of Notre Dame, the Sisters of Bon Secours USA, the Sisters of Mercy and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the academy enrolls students of academic promise from the Baltimore area. Sisters Academy is characterized by its tuition-free, equity model, quality education, a faith-based approach, holistic education, small classes, extended school day/year, summer sessions, parental involvement, and support during high school and beyond. 100% of our alumnae have graduated high school. A growing number have graduated college and even more alumnae have thriving careers. Sisters Academy is small by design and expects an enrollment of no greater than 80 students (10:1 teacher/student ratio).
Sisters Academy is fully accredited by the Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools and is a member in good standing of the NativityMiguel Coalition of Schools.
