Admission Criteria


Admission to Sisters Academy of Baltimore is based on the following criteria:

Admission Factors

  • 4th Grade applicants must be female and successfully complete their current grade level.
  • Student must commit to academic, social, physical, moral, and spiritual development within the holistic curriculum offered at Sisters Academy of Baltimore.
  • Families must fit the criteria for limited economic means with consideration for other extenuating circumstances.
  • Student must successfully complete New Frontiers, which is our mandatory three-week summer program.

Non-Discrimination Policy
Sisters Academy of Baltimore operates in compliance with:

  • Title VI of the federal Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • Title 26, Subtitle 7, of the Education Article of the Maryland Code

Sisters Academy of Baltimore does not:

  • Discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, religion, sex, gender identity, marital status, age, disability, handicap, sexual orientation, national origin, genetic information, or any other legally protected classification in any of its education programs and activities with respect to admission or employment.
  • Refuse enrollment of a prospective student, expel a current student, or withhold privileges from a current student, a prospective student, or the parent or guardian of a current or prospective student because of an individual’s race, ethnicity, color, religion, sex, gender identity, marital status, age, disability, handicap, sexual orientation, national origin, genetic information, or any other legally protected classification in any of its education programs and activities with respect to admission or employment.
  • Discipline or invoke a penalty against, or take any other retaliatory action against a student or parent or guardian of a student who files a complaint alleging that the program or school discriminated against the student regardless of the outcome of the complaint.
